It is with Great sadness that We inform all our friends at the EK HANGOUT about the passing of Lesley Williams who faithfully was a strong personal support to the EK Hangout since starting in 2013, Lesley was in her prime of 56 years old and died after a short illness on Christmas Eve.
Although Lesley got to know many of our club members, she was foremost the Auntie to Lewis Ross and from the very beginning travelling every year from her home in CWMBRAN Wales to attend our main fund-raising events supporting the club with both significant financial donations and through gifts of Easter Eggs and Selection boxes every year for each club member.
Lesley herself lived with the pain and crippling effects of Rheumatoid Arthritis that made her own life limited and painful every day, none the less Lesley, like all our club members never allowed these restrictions to reduce her natural zest for enjoying herself and being such a positive person to everyone who knew her.
Lesley’s family have requested that should friends desire in lieu of flowers, that any honouring contributions are made to the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) in memorial to Lesley Williams..... Mother - Grandmother-Daughter-Sister-Aunt .... loyal friend and Colleague.
